The Doctoral Degree Coach is an interactive progress tracker that you will use to guide you through both the doctoral readiness/skills portion of your program (Stage 1—throughout your program courses) and the doctoral capstone or project portion of your program (Stage 2—the culminating requirement of your doctoral program).

The doctoral readiness/skills portion of the tool helps to prepare you for success in your program by presenting tasks that you will need to complete (e.g., the Doctoral Writing Assessment and program planning) and skills development activities and self-assessments. You can move back and forth between the two “Stages” of the Doctoral Degree Coach, as needed.

You can always return to any portion of the tool to review content descriptions, resources, and help contacts.

For doctoral capstone or project-related questions, reach out to your chair and/or the Help Contacts listed in the coach tool for each To-Do.

For questions about using this tool or for technical support, please contact the Customer Care Team. They are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (closed most major holidays).
