Yes! Even if you don't have the name of a specific person in mind, you can still use the book search to find biographies. 

1. On the Library home page, towards the center of the page, click on Books.

2.  Type your search terms in the search box.

For example, type: 


Or you can try adding an area or profession, like this:

nurse biography

3.  Click Search

4.  Use the Find@Walden button to get the full text of a book.

Here is what the Find@Walden button looks like: 


You can also search individual e-book collections by clicking on the collection name in the Book Collections box further down in the middle of the Books page.
