To set up a search alert in Google Scholar, first run your search. On the results page, locate and click on the Create Alert icon:
Creating an alert will allow you to be updated when new items are published that match your search parameters. Search alerts are a great time saver! You do not need to visit Google Scholar again and again to perform the same search. Instead, articles matching that search will be sent to you.
