In APA style, a table is a visualization of data in rows and columns. Refer to Chapter 5 of the 6th edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association for more information on formatting tables, or view this page on Tables and Figures with examples and guidelines on how tables should be formatted.
For help on creating and formatting a table in Microsoft Word, view the Academic Skills Center's page on formatting tables.
