What happens if my affiliation agreement is not finalized in time for my term start?

Unfortunately, the negotiations process for affiliation agreements is often outside of Walden’s control and can take several weeks or even months to complete—in the event that an affiliation agreement is unable to be reached in time, your application will be pushed back to the next term start and our contract administration team will continue to pursue the agreement

Please note: if your field site will need its own affiliation agreement or will need to negotiate any aspect of an existing agreement, it is always good practice to seek out an alternate site and preceptor to use as a back-up
