What is a Capstone Intensive retreat?

A Capstone Intensive retreat is an optional experience for students in the DBA, EdD, DIT, DNP and PhD programs, designed to offer additional assistance on completing your capstone. PhD students may attend a Capstone Intensive to satisfy the residency 4 requirement.

Students who attend intensives retreat to a location to focus on writing with a faculty member and other students who are at similar stages in their program (i.e., dissertation, doctoral study, or project study). Students spend every day and evening drafting, receiving on-site faculty feedback, revising, and editing.
