I’m having trouble finding a preceptor for my nursing practicum – what can I do?

Students are required to locate their own sites and preceptors for their nursing practicum. There are some resources that may assist you in locating a preceptor. Please see below for more information.

• The Nurse Field Training Office has put on a number of webinars guiding students through the application process and the process of finding a preceptor.  The webinars are housed on the Career Services website.
• For Nurse Practitioner Students, the AANP has a resource on their website to assist students in connecting with NPs in their area.
• The Nursing Field Training Office also has a Website with helpful tips, Webinars, and requirements.
