To cite a report in a reference entry, include the author, year, title of the report, the report number (if there is one), and the publisher.
In-text citations would follow the typical format of including the author (or authoring organization) and year of publication.
If it is an online source with an agency or organization as author, you would include the author, year, title of the report, the report number (if there is one), and the retrieval information in your reference entry.
If it is an online source with an author that is different than the agency or organization itself, include the authoring agency’s name before the URL of the website. View some examples below.
