What is the Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)?

The Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) program is for undergraduates with exceptional financial need. Funding is extremely limited. Pell Grant recipients with the lowest expected family contributions (EFC) will first be considered for FSEOG until funds are exhausted. Having a low EFC is not a guarantee that you will receive the grant. Just like a Pell Grant, this grant does not have to be repaid.
