Does submitting to the Class Café or Contact the Instructor count as a graded assignment?

No, submitting to the Class Café or Contact the Instructor does not count as a graded assignment.  Both of those are for your assistance in the class:

1. The Class Café is for you to interact and talk about course topics with your classmates, in an open discussion.  It is not for a grade.
2. The Contact Your Instructor is for you to reach out with a question to your faculty only.  It is not for a grade.

You must submit a graded discussion or assignment to get credit for class participation.
