What do I need to know about attending commencement?

Commencement Information

• Commencement ceremonies are held two times a year: Summer and Winter. For information about upcoming ceremony activities, please refer to the Commencement at Walden site.
• You can purchase your cap and gown from Herff Jones. 
• Students who have their degrees conferred before the summer conferral deadline are eligible to attend the summer ceremony; students who have their degrees conferred before the winter conferral deadline are eligible to attend the winter ceremony.
• If you and your guests will require a visa to attend the commencement ceremony, you are able to request a graduation verification letter from the Registrar’s Office.
