Every student is different – from the coursework transferred into your current degree to the life factors that impact your ability to make progress each term. As such, the time to complete your program may vary. However, your Student Success Advisor can give a general estimate of the length most students take to complete their programs.

Please note: Walden University has time limits from initial enrollment to completion of degree program, which are as follows:

  • Doctoral students: 8 calendar years
  • Master’s and Ed.S. students: 5 calendar years
  • Undergraduate students: 8 calendar years

These standards are included in the Student Handbook.
