Option 1: go to the Books section of the Psychology, Counseling, or Nursing Research pages.

  1. On the Library homepage, click on Research by Subject
  2. Click on the Psychology, Counseling, or Nursing link.
  3. Click on the Books button. (this may be in the center or on the left side)

Option 2: use Databases A-Z

  1. On the Library homepage, click on Databases A-Z,
  2. In the letters at the top, click on P
  3. Scroll down to PsychiatryOnline
  4. If you haven't already logged in to the Library databases, you'll be prompted to log in with your myWalden Portal user name and password.

Option 3: use the Books page to search for the book.

  1. On the Library homepage click on Publications.
  2. Click on Books
  3. In the search box, type in the title of the book.

Tip: for this book you must type in the whole title, and not the abbreviation. For example:

diagnostic and statistical manual of mental disorders

  4. Click Search.
  5. Click the Find@Walden button to access the book.

Note: you might need to scroll down to find the book in the results.

You will see different options to access the book and locate the Table of Contents.

Note: The Library does not have access to prior versions of the DSM.
