How do I begin recording a Skillsetter assignment submission?

To access a Skillsetter Assignment (video scenario assignment), review Skills Simulation Assignments (PDF).

To access a Skillsetter Assignment:

1. Select the Assignment for your Week/Module

2. A ‘Load Week #: Assignment in a new window’ link will appear. Click the link.

3. That Week or Module’s Skillsetter video simulations will open in a new window.

4. All available simulations must be completed to receive full credit.  Those completed will state “Awaiting evaluation”, where those that are not completed will state “Not started”.

5. Click the title link to begin the simulation.
6. Depending on your browser (Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox are recommended), you will be prompted to allow access to your computer’s camera.
7. You are also given the ability to change the microphone and camera settings:
8. Review the instructions, then click the START button.

9. Click to Begin Practice Case, hints for how to respond display to the right of the screen.
10. After the scenario has played, you will be prompted to record your response.
11. Once your response is completed, click Stop at the bottom of the video inset.
