DRWA Doctoral Writing Assessment is a required course for doctoral students to complete in the beginning of their program. Students will be automatically registered in this free, 4-week, zero-credit course. Students will submit an original assessment essay responding to the topic by Day 7 of Week 2 in the DRWA Doctoral Writing Assessment course.  Assessors from the Walden Writing Center will anonymously review your essay during weeks 3 and 4 of the course and assign it a score. A rubric is included in the DRWA course so that you can review in advance the categories on which your writing will be assessed.
