Are there any guidelines on the Level 1 heading after the chapter title?

Chapter titles are written in Level 0 formatting and it is acceptable to use a Level 1 Heading directly after that. Usually, the first Level 1 Heading after the chapter title is your Introduction. Introductory paragraphs go under that Level 1 Heading.
