You should always make sure you have a copy of the discussion post saved before attempting any troubleshooting.

Discussion Post Formatting: 

  • You should type and save discussion posts to Word

  • When copying from a Word document into the text editor, formatting issues can occur. You should copy and paste from Word to Notepad.  Then copy and paste from Notepad to the Discussion text editor.  Now submit. 

  • This may not clear all formatting issues but the post should be significantly more consistent.

  • Use Chrome or Firefox as browsers.

  • You can also preview the post using the Remove Formatting icon on the expanded Tool Bar.

Subject Line:

  • You should keep Discussion post subject lines to a maximum of 2-3 words.
