Database users are automatically logged out after a certain time of inactivity. This is done to protect user security and ensure the Library's systems can handle the high traffic load.

Different database companies set various automatic log out times, based on user inactivity. This can range from 30 minutes to 2 hours of inactivity.

If you are in a database and want to ensure you are not logged out due to inactivity, rerun your search or click on something.
