Can I get access to a clinical app (application software) through the Library?

Unfortunately, diagnostic and clinical apps are outside the scope of the Walden Library's collection.

Librarians base licensing and purchasing decisions on the needs of known assignments/courses/programs, suggestions from faculty and students, and current industry review sources to choose materials for purchase.

Clinical apps and diagnostic tools such as UpToDate, Lexicomp and Ucentral fall outside the scholarly needs of our programs. These tools are more likely to be available through health care employers like hospitals and clinics as they are for clinician use.
