If you fail to comply with the Walden policy and attempt to attend a U.S. residency without the proper documentation, you will be denied entry to the residency.

If you register for a U.S. residency and have not completed the mandatory steps to obtain an I-20 and an F-1 student visa within 30 days prior to the residency, your residency registration will be canceled and subject to the cancelation parameters below.

  • Cancelations at least 30 calendar days before the start of the residency – 100% refund without penalty.
  • Cancelation from 30 to 11 days before the start date – refund minus a 5% cancelation fee.
  • Cancelation within 10 days of the start date – no refund will be issued.

Non-U.S. students cannot attend a U.S. residency without having the proper documentation for attending an academic program. There are absolutely no exceptions to this policy.

Please see the attached file for complete information about the process for international students attending residencies in the U.S.
