The Office of Academic Support offers writing workshops on revising and editing the proposal for doctoral candidates. The workshops are six weeks long, and give students small group and individualized attention while they work on revising and editing drafts of their proposal. During the workshops students receive instruction, feedback, and support from both the instructor and peers. The workshops cost $195 each and are not credit bearing.

There are six workshops available to both quarters and semesters students:

To register, students must email their Student Success Advisor (contact information for Student Success Advising) and attach a 2-3 page excerpt from the relevant portion of their proposal draft (e.g., for the workshop on the introduction, students must include an excerpt from their introduction).

If you have any questions about the workshops, please visit the CAEX workshops webpage or email the CAEX Program.
