A good place to start is with the process guide, checklist, and rubric that are located on the Center for Research Quality (CRQ) website under EdD Procedures and Documents.
We also suggest visiting the Writing Center web page for EdD students and downloading the EdD doctoral study or project study template. Working in this template will ensure that all formatting specifications are met. You may also download the APA style checklist to help guide you as you draft your proposal and final dissertation chapters.
Direct all content and methodology questions to the chair and methodologist on your supervisory committee.
- Visit the Walden Library to view the many resources available to doctoral or project study writers, and ask a librarian for help searching the literature on your topic.
- Review the Writing Center’s archived webinars on writing each of the chapters / section to help orient you as you are drafting a particular description.
- Program-specific resources are all compiled and described on the Doctoral Capstone Resources website.
