How do I format my paper?
Microsoft Word Resources:
The Academic Skills Center has put together some resources to assist students in common Microsoft Word questions. See the drop-down menus on the Academic Skills website to access Microsoft Word videos and tutorials.
If these resources do not answer your specific question, browse the Microsoft Help website. (For tips on how to browse Microsoft’s website, view this video.) Microsoft’s website should have the most accurate and up-to-date information for you!
Additionally, use the appropriate templates on the Writing Center's website for the types of papers you are writing. These templates are preformatted so you can simply download the template and insert your own content.
- If you are working on a doctoral capstone (EdD, PhD, DBA, or DBA), watch the demonstration webinar of the template for your specific program to learn how to best use the template.
- If you are an working on a course paper, watch the recorded webinar "APA Formatting: Beyond Citations" for tips.
Do you have other general writing questions? E-mail the Writing Center.
Other questions about your doctoral capstone? E-mail the editors.
