Different Walden documents (such as course papers, discussion posts, or dissertations) require different pagination (page number) formatting.
The easiest way to ensure that you are using the proper pagination for your type of assignment is to use the template for that type of document. The Writing Center has preformatted templates for a variety of different document types used in Walden coursework.
Find these preformatted templates on the Writing Center's templates page. If you use a template, the page numbers will automatically be inserted for you.
However, if you wish to format your own page numbers or learn more about page number rules, see the Academic Skills Center's Microsoft Word tutorials.
