Because all Writing Center reviews are asynchronous, there is no specific scheduled time for Writing Center appointments.
Papers should be attached in myPASS (my Paper Appointment Scheduling System) by 5 a.m. EST on the day of your appointment. Staff will then review your document within 2 days of your appointment date and e-mail you when your document has been reviewed.
In myPASS, you’ll see that appointments appear on a grid with times. These appointment times are only for organization of open slots and do not refer to meeting or completion times. Writing Center appointments do not include a phone call or live communication.
Would you like your current assignment or paper to be reviewed by the Writing Center? If so please visit the Writing Center's Paper Review Website and make an appointment with us!
- See the Writing Center's webpage for video tutorials on how to make an appointment and navigate myPASS.
- If you’re curious about what feedback from the Writing Center looks like, see the Writing Center's feedback samples.
- Once you receive a writing instructor's feedback, you can look at it at your convenience. For more information about how the Writing Center’s review services work, take a look at the Paper Reviews webpage.
