There are a few ways to get help from the Walden Library. We have resources in these places:

  • The Library's Get Help page
Includes step-by-step guides for Library skills, such as:  how to search for articles, evaluate resources, find statistics, verify peer review, and more. It also includes technical help, webinars and tutorials.

  • The Library's Instructional Media page
Register for live online workshops, view archived webinars, or take a short tutorial.

  • Quick Answers
Find step by step instructions on specific tasks in the Library. There are no articles in Quick Answers, but there are instructions on how to search the databases.

  • Ask a Librarian
    • Email a librarian for personalized help.
    • Office Hours: Drop in to ask librarians a question every Wednesday from 3-4 pm Eastern Time, and get help with finding articles on a topic, finding full text, searching the Library's databases, and more.
    • Group Advising: Join a librarian to ask questions and see live search demonstrations of specific Library tasks and skills.

Remember, scholarly research takes practice. Maximize your efforts and elevate your work by learning search strategies and time-saving tips early in your program.
