How can I build a curriculum vitae (c.v.)?

Curriculum vitae (c.v.) resources, tips, and samples are available on the Career Planning and Development website and inside the SkillsFirst system.  Follow these steps to create or strengthen your c.v.:

1. Visit the Curriculum Vitae Guide, a comprehensive online resource with tips for creating and organizing c.v. sections, along with detailed guidelines for listing credentials and accomplishments.
2. Review c.v. samples on the Custom Samples page.
3. Log into SkillsFirst and use the SkillsFirst Resume and Letter Guide to start building a c.v.
4. Watch the webinar, Develop Your Academic CV, on the Career Planning and Development' Webinars and Videos page.  
5. Continue to expand your c.v. while a student at Walden through leadership activities, professional development, and community engagement. Review this list of additional c.v. sections for ideas.
