Walden University requires your participation in an online course called “Think About It.” This online course is an annual, mandatory requirement for all students and must be completed prior to your residency or intensive attendance.
The course is an important part of our compliance with Title IX regulations and will take approximately 90 minutes to complete. For those of you who are not familiar with Title IX, it is a comprehensive federal law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in any federally funded education program or activity.
Approximately two weeks prior to the residency start, you should receive an email from the training vendor, Campus Clarity, with a link to the training. Please locate that email and click on the link that says, “Start Training.” The training has the option to allow you to leave the training and return to the course at any time, and when you return, it will open to the page where you left off. While you may launch this training at any time and work at your own pace, the training should be completed prior to attending the residency.
NOTE: This course is required annually. If you have completed the Title IX course within the last 12 months, you will not receive a link and do not have to complete the training again at this time. If you have recently completed Title IX training for another company or organization, you DO need to complete Walden University’s training.
