You will have access to the Walden Library databases until the term after your degree is conferred.

For example, if your degree is conferred for the summer semester (1-May-17 through 20-Aug-17), you would become inactive effective the start of the 2017 fall semester, 28-August-17).

Keep in mind this is not a fixed amount of time.  Day 1 of the next term will set all matriculated students’ statuses to inactive.

As an example, a dissertation student whose degree is conferred by week 4 of the term will have 8 more weeks of library access; the student who finishes in week 10, only two more weeks.

The graduation team does this upon processing conferral.

The Office of Alumni Relations provides access to a limited number of databases after graduation.
