To refresh your computer literacy skills, check out the Northstar Digital Literacy Tool. Use it to assess your current computer skills by completing self-guided modules in. You’ll receive a score, and then you can conduct simple Google searches (e.g., What does a USB port look like?) to fill in your gaps. This tool has modules on the following topics, as well as others:

  • Basic computer use
  • World Wide Web
  • Using Email
  • Social Media
  • Information Literacy
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Microsoft Word

This cool tool was designed by the St. Paul (MN) Public Library and the St. Paul (MN) Community Literacy Consortium
