When should international students register for U.S. residencies?

You should register as soon as registration opens for your selected location and at least 3-4 months in advance of the residency start date. You will receive a residency registration confirmation email approximately 24-48 hours after your registration is processed.

Remember, you should register for your first residency as soon as you begin your program (PhD, DBA, DIT,  DSW, EdD, DrPH, DHA, CES) or as soon as you become eligible based on program requirements (MS, MSW).
