Students follow a three-step process to complete the doctoral writing assessment:

1.    Complete DRWA 8000G (quarter programs) or DRWA 8001G (semester programs) Doctoral Writing Assessment. The course is free, carries zero credits, and is 4 weeks long. Students will be automatically enrolled in this course after completion of the equivalent of one full quarter or semester.
2.    Write and submit the required assessment essay as described in DRWA 8000G/8001G;
3.    Complete any writing support course(s) as required based on your assessment essay score.
